GRAB-AND-GO CRAFT December 9, Holiday (Schiappa Branch continued) We have a very important election coming up! Our youngest library patrons will cast their votes to select their favorite household pet. This past summer, the cats sent their very coolest cat “Pete the Cat” out on the campaign trail to all of the branches to shake hands and pose for pictures with young summer reading program participants. The cats have even gone so far as to move kittens into the Schiappa Branch in an attempt to secure more votes! Scooby Doo, Clifford, and Bluey were all invited to visit PLSJ libraries to campaign against the cats, but they were unavailable due to book tours and filming schedules. These superstar dogs asked the library to post this joint statement on their behalf: “ We love you and implore you to visit the library to check out and read some of the hundreds of books available there about us. The librarians, they love us. Did you know they have more books about dogs than they have about cats? Please don’t forget to vote!” Cat Vs. Dog! TODDLERS VOTE DURING TOT TIME PROGRAMS SCHIAPPA BRANCH, NOVEMBER 4, 5, & 6
