Get a Library Card
Ohio residents may apply for a library card in person at any of our branches. Adults 18 and older must show
identification to verify an Ohio address.
Patrons 13 and older may obtain a library card without the presence of a parent or guardian but cannot have access
to internet or Audiovisual materials until a parent or guardian signs a registration form in person for this privilege.
Patrons under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult to register for a library card.
Out-of-state cards can be issued for an annual fee of $10.00 per household.
University students may apply for a one-year patron membership with an ID and proof of local residence.
For questions about your library card status, expiration, or other questions about obtaining a library card, please call
the circulation desk of your local PLSJ branch.
